Measure the furniture you want to keep, but be honest about the priority. A sofa can be replaced. The location, lot, and layout are much harder to change.

I ask the same thing about garages: “Are we buying a garage that comes with a house?” Sometimes the answer is yes, and that’s fine. I want to know what is driving the decision before we start looking.
